Hi, everyone! I finally can see our cherry blossom ‘s blooming and enjoy it from our family room.
She is 6 years old and it’s getting taller and bigger.
As you know, the winter here NY is usually long and very cold. I didn’t grow up with snow and very cold weather..so it is always hard to survive from freezing cold winter.
But once I am getting older, I really know the spring I have after long cold winter is such a joy. I enjoy every single sign of spring. Then I thought I really wanted to see the cherry blossom blooming as one of the big sign of MY spring in our backyard.
So we planted our baby cherry blossom 6 years ago. We always get very excited when her blooming is almost coming.
I saw her blooming started the day before yesterday and she looked so pretty yesterday with a beautiful spring weather we had. Unfortunately, the weather got so rough from last night, with thunder, heavy raining, even a little snowing…and crazy wind!! (I’m sure my tree was not expecting that comes all together..)
Just not the good day for blooming she chose for this year.
The time for blooming is always very limited.
There is no guarantee if we have a perfect situation for blooming even we were preparing and waiting for the day we can perfectly bloom.
But as long as you are blooming, you look beautiful and shining. People find you and people get impressed with seeing you no matter what kind of situation you are having in that moment. Because they know it took you for long time to get there to bloom yourself with so much efforts and so much patiences.
People who had been sick for long time, people who had been fighting with something for long time, people who had tragedy and it took so long to get over from it…etc…their winter must have been so long and they might have thought their spring might never come again..When they finally get the day for blooming, thats blooming must be looking much more beautiful,shining, and must be meaning so special.
The time for blooming is very limited.
Don’t miss their most beautiful moment, enjoy seeing all different kind of blooming around you;)
..and please don’t forget to bloom yourself! Beautiful birds will never miss the blooming flowers. Beautiful people will also never miss your blooming.
